We still have crazy premium gouging* going on here — a holdover from the higher prices and limited demand, I’m sure. The BP on my way to work:

*I don’t consider it price “gouging” unless the information is hidden from the consumer. In this case, only the $1.53 price is listed on the sign. The rest are only shown on the pumps themselves, which I find deceptive.

last time I filled up it was 2.34 I think it might have gone down. 87 was 1.79 at the time. Now its 1.69.

But I only need 4.5gal at a time for 93. I think I paid $1.88 for 93 last time, but I don’t really look. My wife and I buy a fuckton of fuel (25-2700 gal/year), so I will have almost all the regulars and a little bit of all the premiums.

Exciting times indeed. $1.67 for 93 here. Filled up from a little over 1/4 tank for 20 bucks. That made my wallet happy.

I feed the FieSTa 91-non-ethanol from the local fleet services station. yesterday it cost me $2.58/gal. Regular is still hovering near $2 here.

93 is really hard to find at altitude/around Denver. I had to try to find some for work and couldn’t, ended up mixing 91 with race gas.

I wish it was that cheap here. I don’t feel like I’ve gotten to participate in the cheap gas euphoria. Everyone’s all like “woooo $1.40/gal” and I’m still paying close to $2.50/gal sometimes.
